52 willys steering

building a 52 willys p/u street rod but having steering issues. Using a straight front axle, steering column from a 63 ford p/u. It sits very low and am needing to put steering box on top of the frame. This makes for a terrible angle on the drag link. The steering arm is attached to the spindle on the bottom. Can I move the steering arm to the top of the spindle. This would correct the drag link angle.
