1952-59 Ford 53/54 body swap

Okay, Ive been building a 53 mainline for my old man and today we decided finally what to do with my 1st car (54 ford customline) body swap! The 54 has 3 on the tree and a working overdrive, gonna pull the bodies, stick the 3x2 292 in place of the 239 and drop the 53 body onto the 4 door ch***is, by my understanding the 54 is .5" longer wheel base but should otherwise bolt right up?

 

As long as the '54 has a solid front suspension cross member you should be in business.

 

The 53 has a torched out and plated front crossmember, the 54 is in great shape. Should be pretty awesome
