53-54 Chev question

Im planing on painting the roof or my car white sometime before summer. My problem is i cant decide wether to paint just the roof area or paint the whole top half of the car including the upper door area. Any input or pics of ether style is much appreciated.

 

i would two tone the top and maybe throw some flake in there

 

White top with heavy flake...make even white with a red flake to match the wheels..lets see it when your through

 

Flake eh hmmm...... Could be a good idea. Thanks for the input guys. Anyone have pics of a 53-54 with a flaked roof?

I painted the roof on my 53 with the correct Ivory white of the era. No flake and I just did the roof no pillars..I think it looks nice..

 

Yeah, flake or not, roof and no pillars.
