53 54 chevy front end rebuild kit

does anyone have any info about a front end rebuild kit i checked national chevy they do not offer a kit

 

welcome, Chevs of the 40s is great source but i dont think you will find a kit you will just have to order it piece by piece. if you need king pins, idler arm, tie rods, any bushings you might need. It would actually be cheaper this way because you only buy what you need.

 

thanks man i wonder if the 49 - 54 are the same front ends

 

they are similar, but not 100% the same. the uprights are different, brakes are different, but other than that, pretty much interchangeable. is that pic you at greaserama?
