53-54 chevy sectioning what to do about trunk?

ive been thinking about sectioning my 54 chevy but am not sure about the trunk area
how did they do the 54 chevy on monster garage?
did they section the trunk or leave it huge?

I can't tell you a thing 'bout "Monster Garage", but how much of a section are we talkin'? 2.5-3.0 can be taken below the latch. Any more and you're looking at the deck lid for additional sectioning.

A friend of mine just did one for his Dad and he took the inches out of the bottom of trunk lip and it looks great,. Later, Michael

 

I like the rear quarter bulge on 53-54 Chevies, have you given any thought to keeping the front area round and not pointed after the section is removed?

 

I mean no disrespect, but instead of asking what they did on Monster Garage, why don't you draw up what you want it to look like. And then know if you have the skill to do it, or the money and confidence in a shop to do it for you........??
