53sled, the "-2" you refer to , is that 2" drop coils or 2 rounds cut from coil? my lowering job is coming soon, i went with 3" lowering blocks in the rear and 2" drop coils in the front, Im thinking air shocks for the rear cuz roads around here ****...
oh and not to hijack the thread but how wide of a rim can I stuff under the front, offset and otherwise?? I just put an old set of 15x8 and im grinding on the tie rod... i want to use the tires cuz i have em,

In the back of the Monroe catalogs and in most other brands shock catalogs they have listings of their shocks by end and length.

You may need to dust off your official decoder ring but once you find the Monroe number for the shock that will work you are off to the races as that number can be crossed pretty easy.

stock rims are 15x5.5 thats what im running im ***uming you could get away with 15x7 not sure i had the same problem with 15x8 so i went with stock width looks better in my opinion.

Broke a shock on My Nomad and got to NAPA just a minute (6:01)after they closed, guy was just getting in his car but would not reopen. Autozone actually had rear shocks for it. Had to drive about 30 miles to get them. This happened the night before going to GoodGuys show. The shocks were about 17 bucks each for rear. They also had the fronts in stock at this particular store.
