I think he's asking for a dedicated '53-'56 F-100 picture thread. The others on here are early F1's through mid 60's F100's.

That's what I am looking for I find it very interesting the different combo's of headlights on some of the customs! I am thinking I saw a flat finned tube grill on a F100 somewhere recently too that I like.

I just got the y-block back in my '54 f100 and did a thread search that turned up this one. Mine has a long way to go but it's under power and on the road again.

 

anybody notice that silver one with the big window conversion and the one piece side windows lot of cool touches on that one

Yea, I've decided to leave the axle under mine (unless I can find the "rare as hens teeth", obsolete Industrial Ch***is Dakota crossmember), gonna go with 3" dropped springs and I don't know if that's enough or not. If it needs another inch, I'm thinking about going with a 57 axle. That'll work, right? More, I guess a 3" dropped axle.

Tail Lights when I built the truck 8 yrs ago

 

Reworked tail lights last spring. Light cans were built out of a door skin from a Toyota (some Jap Junk is good for something)
