Hello everyone longtime reader first time poster.

I am currently completely rewiring my 53 Plymouth (aka Agnes) and I am running into a bit of an issue with the horn ****on. I re***embled the way it shows in the service manual, yet the ****on sits tight on the horn cup and triggers the horn to scare everything in a 4 mile radius (****ers loud!) I am 99% sure the horn ****on is not supposed to sit tight on the cup, but I could be mistaken. I was wondering if there was anyone else who has run into the same kind of issue with these old 53-54 plymouths? Any kind of help or direction to find out would be greatly appreciated. I did do a search of the forums and came up empty. Thank you once again!

    mgtstumpy,
Thanks for the suggestion! I do appreciate it. I cheated and got a small black push ****on momentary switch and wired up the horn that way. Put it where it blends in with the dash. Thanks again!
