Did a search but nothing on this exactly

Got issues with my driver side door. The door striker will not stay in place because the serrations on the sriker plate anchor and the serrated anchor plate attached to the body are both stripped. I can tighten the bolts as much as I want but after opening and closing the door a few times it'll eventually force the door striker out of position and leave the door not shutting tightly. Does anyone know who may sell repops or where a decent set of originals for these serrated plates can be found? Or any other fix?

Also any other tips for getting the 53/54 latches running smoothly before I shave the handles.

    Thanks

drop a couple of tack welds on it after you get it positioned correctly.

They are the same as a 4 door. I sent my spares to Motorbike Mike and he put them right on with no problem. I don't know what you'd have to do for the backing plate.
