day 1..got her home in the drive way..this is my first build thread and i hope to learn from this.i started 3 weeks ago so i will post pics to catch everyone up on progress

 

So whats the test question for?

Got lots done today with 2link bars got nova rear end today.tomorrow will be putting front crossmember bag together with new bushings..does anyone know of a thread or have up close pics of putting these front ends back together?

what type of brake systems you guys running on these cars?boosters or no?

 

boosters are for pussies...
and old farts... lol

 

lol ok..i didnt use them on my 46 rat i had either..that ruck was scary though..death wobble and pissy brakes made me sell it..

not much done last couple days cause of being sick but i managed to order some G78-15's and some brake parts got a motor..

 

hey guys if i run the booster master cylinder combo is ther still need for proportioning valve and 10# in line residual valve? please help..any inf greatly appreciated thanks,,i wanna order parts but dont know what to order..still gunna run drum/drum setup

Looks like a cool build so far. Keep up the good work. So why do you want to run a booster? I've been driving my '53 with stock brakes and it works great. I would say to use one if you were doing a disk conversion but wouldn't bother since your staying with drums. Just my opinion....

 

had mini booster from another build ..just didnt know if i needed to use it
