I need clearance help. Measure twice cut one. I dropped the front 2.5" and the back 3". My body and chassis are at separate locations. From your experience on 53 Chevy cars will my fender wells have enough clearance? I'm about to start on the floor pans and know y'all's experience is a lot more than mine. You should be fine. My 54 is dropped 4-5" both front and rear and the tires don't hit the inner fenders. The axle will hit the frame in the back before the tires hit. At about 5" up front the tires might hit the fender at full lock depending on what size tires you are running.
Should be fine. Have the same drop on my 50 and the only thing that hits is the rearend on the frame. Also had to make room in the rear to clear the open drive shaft and diff on the floor Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
