I have a 53 customline with a 390 and a c6 trans. I want to hook up the original gauge cluster and was wondering what type of speedometer cable do I need? Can I use a push in type and on the other end a 5/8 I think.? Basically what type of cable do I need for this to work? Thanks guys....

Top nut is 5/8-18 bottom nut is 7/8-18. If you can not find a cable locally just give me a length and we can make one up for you.

Sorry my bad the C-6 is the push in with the clip on gear, I didn't read your question close enough.
