    Thank you. Looks so stock and un***uming. It Runs good and valve clatter reminds me of the 327 30/30 cam. Good power too and never gets above 173 degrees. May have to up that.

    Came along great until I lost the lower end of engine. Lots of power, good runner. Getting ready to put engine back in and will keep you posted.

    Sorry to hear of your loss, but sure you will recover.. Upper end just too much for the lower?? or other issues?

    Thanks, it was the lower end. Still determining the cause. Know it was an oil issue and all points to the failure of rear main seal (graphite.) Almost done with the fix and should be running this month.

    Having an original set of heads numbered 168 & 169 is great and can't say enough about how nice an Ardun runs. Lots of power but a lot of valve noise. Building an Ardun is not for the faint of heart. From everything I have seen, it will cost in the $30k area. Finding a good block is an arduous task all other parts are expensive.

    Love the '53. Changed to a dual master cylinder last week. Unfortunately, no room for a booster because of Ardun valve cover interference.
