Whats up guys, this truck didnt come with a sender and me being new to this model, so,... Which way does the float rod point to, the front or rear? Im running Omega gauges with an adjustable bracket whick is still too long, i have to cut it, and the way its set up the rod would point to the front. Also,... Any type of goop to seal the gaskets, it will be,Cork-Adapter-Rubber-Sender. Any comments would be appreciated.
I was just putting my old one in a new tank the other day and I recall the screw holes being such that there is one obvious way it fits. Try the position where the screws line up.
Thanks for your comment sfeldma,.... Im putting an aftermarket sender with adapter, so if i just lined it up it would point almost to the side, there is a screw to loosen to adjust that, im just gonna point it forward toward the engine, see what happens.
