  1. Hey Guys:
So my car doesn't have a heater blower motor under the hood.

    Instead I have this:

I'm ***uming this is an aftermarket heater by Ford? It's obvious it has a blower as you can see the ducts. The switch for it appears to be an add on under the dash there. Does anyone else have or have seen this before? The car isn't running yet so I'm guessing.

Also I have no windshield washer ****on on the floorboard. There's no bottle or bracket or hoses either, so I'm wondering if this was an option?

Heaters and windshield washers were options. Dealers often ordered strippy cars and added accessories themselves to pack the selling price. There's a good chance the dealer added your radio, too.

Being a Ford unit and not being the "fresh air heater" that heater is probably fairly rare. Most retrofit heaters like that were everything from a Sears Allstate to a Pep Boys unit because they were usually much cheaper than the Ford heater. I don't think I have seen one before on a car but have seen them in pickups. I like it!

Since I think the heater says FORD on it you may have the standard heater and not the delux. Does it have a fan and cable to let heat go to the defroster vents. You can redirect the hose up out of the way.....
I don’t see the pump pedal for a windshield washer which was mechanical on Fords. Do you have a squirt nozzle on the center of the hood near the back.
I do see a high beam floor ****on switch which is standard placement for 40-50-60-70’s cars
