On my '54 Ranch Wagon the shift linkage has a lube fitting.

I wonder if I could get some opinions on engine swaps? I have already spent a bunch of money on getting the stock flathead to run. I feel like now, it would have been better spent on a V8/auto swap. That flathead would be perfect for my T RPU project. Really, the sky’s the limit on options. An old 352 FE with a C4 sound traditional to me. I know where I can get a big Lincoln Y block and hydramatic setup. 302 kinda boring, etc.

I think your only hurdle is clearing the drag link in the front similar to a shoebox 49-51. Some creative oil pan placement or a dropped tie rod could get you around most issues typically

Getting back on this thing. I got it started for a few minutes at a time, changing fuel filters and using chem tool. Gas is looking and smelling better. Also playing around with the wheel covers. [IMG]

This car is for sale. No reasonable offer refused. Send me a message and haul it home.

I'm sorry you weren't able to finish it. Health issues ****! I posted a thread over in the '52-'59 Ford social forums about it's sale. Hopefully that'll generate some interest. Good luck!

Sorry to hear that you need to sell the car. Really enjoyed your build thread. I wish you the best with your health issues as well.
