1952-59 Ford 53 idler arm bracket

anyone know if a 53 manual steer idler arm bracket is the same as the 49-51 pictured below?

I doubt it,I checked the Parts Manual for you, the 49-51 idler arm is night and day different in shape from a 52-53 they do however share the same part numbers for the bushings, from the illustration it appears as the 49-51 bracket is shorter than a 52-53.

 

do you know if the 52-53 bracket is available through and parts houses?

 

Idler arms can be had,but the bracket will probably have to come from a 52-53 donor car.
