    just picked up a 53 packard mayfair debating whether i want to chop the top i know a guy that will chop it for 1200 but my question is i want to put it in the weeds will standard lowering blocks work or is there something i need to know also how hard will it be to lower the front couldnt pass this one up bought it for 600 still has the straight 8 aand everything is there with the exception of some broken glass

    Chop it if you wanna, don't chop it if you don't wanna. It won't be any harder or easier than chopping a Chevy or Cadillac or other curved-windshield car. (On second thought, are windshields available in case yours breaks while it's being cut? If so, then go for it. If not, I'd be real reluctant.)
