as of 1 am last night the 53 in finaly in lincoln some humorous storys to follow after i get back from cl*** but im just to overjoyed ive gotaa post a photo tim
lol i just realized that actualy about the only good pic i got last night. all the others ill add to my album of "road side seenery" lol the first half of the trip is all landscapes out the widsheidl the second half is shots of me on the side of the road lol. all in all it went well, my cars holding a charge better but its still not generatoing enough, so i will ahve to rebuild it for sure now instead of just fixing the tweaked wiring i found. i swaped the new fan on it only to find it to long and it was hitting the top tank :S so some rigging and were shortly back on the road. just stoped every 20 miles and charged up for a big and we were golden, convenitly theres a town every 20 miles on my route home i also got rid of my fuel filter clog problems, i pulled my gas cap off and it was preety rusty on the bottom side and had never noticed previously, it must ahve been just droping flakes in there randomly put a rag in it and went for home and after about half an hour i felt that stutter again, this time i shut the headlights off and it went away! half my fuel filter problem was the gas cap and theother half wasnt fuel at all it was spark lol. oh well ill tear into that gen tomorow after my test and its looking like a --sigh-- electric fan is going in so i can make it to btt50s in two weeks. this is the second or third fan ive swaped. one was **** eyed, the otherse to long. oh well an electric fan on a driving car is a thousand times cooler then a mechanical fan on a parked car tim
haha thanx guys, think ill rebuild the gen this weekend and thrash on it with some local hambers wednesday and see what we can get done im takin this ******* all the way to back to the fifties even if i have to start brining an extra battery with me to jump it and a a mag light duct taped to the hood lol. "back to the fifties or bust" lol. on another random sorta funny note i got to the car in freemont and the drivers side door is stuck shut lol. the rods and everything look like there moving and it doesnt appear to be locked it just wont open, but oddly enough my interior lights started to work randomly. maybe its only got enough soul to do a certain amount of things at a time. get either interior dome lights or a drivers door that opens ha. though threw the journey the car has gained th enick name of the "ghost beast" when im following my freinds home from working on the car its usaly at night and when ever i end up just following them with out my headlights on, all you can see are the park lights and the glow from the tail lights behind them until they hit the brakes and my car lights up red or a p***ing cars head lights hit them and my car lights up right behind them lol. itll get there tim
