I bought this ol girl off of a guy in Missouri, It needs a bunch of work but I felt it's well worth it to bring it back to life as a period correct g***er (drag car)

Here is my Dad's recreation of his '53 Studebaker G***er that he raced back in the mid-60's. It's has a 259 cubic inch Studebaker with a T-10 4-speed...we just got it finished in time for the Meltdown Drags @ Byron Dragway. We've had a lot of fun building/racing the "South Bend ROAD OILER" :)

Not a Studebaker g***er, but this when we started racing back in the mid '80's, the best times and memories I can remember...

AWESOME! I was wondering if you were on here. I am the guy in Missouri you bought it from. I hope you do a build thread on it here so I can keep tabs on it. I am really excited it found such a good home....can't wait to see it back on the track again.
