54 and 56 desoto spindles the same?

does anybody know if 54 desoto spindles are the same as 56 desoto ones. i know they both use a kingpin setup, but im not sure if they are the same.

reason being is that i have a disc brake setup for a 56 and im wondering if it will work on my 54. i havent got the 54 in my possesion yet so i cant look for myself. any info would be greatful.

55 has with or with out power steering and early and late options--55 only desoto and chrysler
56 is 1956 only desoto and chrysler

this is for the plain cars---------- wagons are another spindle also.
