I'm starting on my first 54 Chevy 210. I've got the body off the frame and did Gambinos C notch in the rear.
There is a Mustang II front cross member already on the car.
The problem is I'm wanting it to sit on the ground(bagged) and who ever installed the Mustang II did a shotty job and its not going to allow me to go low enough in the front.
If I cut it out and put it where I want I won't have enough material to weld back. So I was going to step up the front clip a couple inches.
    Before I start cutting,
The question is for those guys with 53-54 Chevy's, air ride and their car sits on the ground.... was is the measurement from the radiator support to the ground at all the way down position and what size tires on 15"
Or any measurment I could go off of would help a ton.
Ive read and searched till I cant take not being in the garage anymore.

I cant get any pics to load, admin tried to reset no go
