I am new to here and need some help with my '54 Chevy 210 4-door. I am trying to figure out how hard it is to rebuild the sealed driveshaft that is leaking or if it would be cheaper and easier to get a solid driveshaft and different rearend. I am very low on money and trying to get this car running again so I can possibly get rid of a car payment.
can understand your situation very well, but these questions belong on the main page of the H.A.M.B. Message board. This page is for personal Introductions. Good Luck to you and Welcome to the H.A.M.B. firstnomad www.angelfire.com/jazz/flatlandstudio
Main board will get a lot more answers. But, I did a 76 Nova rear with 2.93 gears. Saginaw 4 speed. driveshaft from the Nova fit like it was made for it. Ya need a bell for a 6 cyl truck to mate to a later trans with the larger bolt pattern. ***uming it's a stick. Even the parking brake stuff worked out simply.
