hey im trying to find out what backspace i need or what you guys out there are running. the cars bagged and im running a ford 8" rear and mustang 2 from ch***is engineering up front. i want to run a 15" probably by 7" wide. i want to tuck them and find out where to get these guys from. thanks....
I'm running 15x6s with 3 3/4 backspace. I got my last set from Wheel Vintiques http://wheelvintiques.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/page53-ss2.html I had a set of 15x7s but went to a slightly smaller tire that fits on the 6" rim better. The 15x7s with 4 1/4 BS and the bigger tire was too much with the car lowered. I have a Fatman front, so yours may be a bit different.
Hmm. Since you are running Ford front and back yu should run '55 -'56 Ford rims. they are the same size as the stock '54 Chevy rim! Klaus
Factory rims should fit just fine, if you can find 7 inchers. I have factory GM 7 inch rims on the back of my '53. No idea what cars they came off of, but I do know they didn't come off of the same car.
