How's it goin out there ,,i have a couple questions reguarding changing out my stock steering column Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
From what i have read you are supposed to measure from the top of the bell to the end of the shaft,,to get the size needed for a replacement,however what is considered the bell?! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
welcome, what exactly are you wanting to do? the column is one piece all the way to the box. are you cutting it and installing late model column? i cut mine and install a ujoint to new column. my new column is 32 inches. measure how long a column you need and add for the joint then cut off original where it all fits right.

Decide where you want the wheel to be and cut the old one off accordingly to the length of the replacement column, and whatever you'll use to couple them afterwards.
