Projects 54 Chevy

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Road Kill PU, Feb 12, 2014.

  1. It seems as though every time I think I am getting ahead something else jumps up and bites me in the butt. I finally got my new hood shaved:) and peaked, got the wiring harness in the shop and the new gauges also.:) Then my knee goes to crap. Had to have my second revision(that's the third replacement) and now I am stove up for a couple of months again. When you are an old fart like me it seems that recovery is slower than it was 50 years ago. Anyway, I'm ready to get after it. The cold weather sucks also.
Thanks for listening to my bitches.
    Later,
    Dick

Yeah, those reproduction parts don't work like the original ones do.

Dick, this Winter has really been wearing on me as well. Thankfully my new knee is doing excellent. Hope to see you at the HOT ROD HUNDRED RELIABILITY RUN in April. I'm going to the Starbird show in Tulsa this Saturday for some R&R. Sam

I had back surgery in October. I am much better but it is a slow recovery. I should be back to work soon.

I have a 54 that needs work too.
