54 desoto grill

i got a 54 desoto grill.the grill is decent will be sweet when done.im putting it in my 51 chevy.the only problem is i dont have the inner guts for the lights and no gl*** or plasic for them.is there a place who sell the little stuff like this for my grill?thanks

You can rebuild the innards using "pigtails" from Autozone or Checker (Kragen,Shucks?) and your own lamp holders. Look in the electrical section for these. As for the lenses there's a guy in Australia who is re-popping a lot of old desoto plastic. His name is George Laurie. You can find him at the Desotoland Despatch (message board) or email him @ georgelaurie@bigpond.com . Tell him 56fireflite from that board sent ya... He's not exactly cheap but he does some beautiful work (better than original!)!
