So yesterday, my dad and i were cruzin in the 53 in an area we hadnt been too familiar with. When we came around a corner, all of a sudden we found a 54 ford skyliner for sale. Needs a lot of work, but has the original y block and is mostly all original, not much molesting has taken place. Well we called the number and havent gotten any responces from the guy. My dad thinks that since it is such a rare car, it would be a good one to grab. (Which i am definatley not complaining about getting!) It has what looks to be the original colors (Yellow with a white top). But we would def have to give it a frame off resto. Ill get some pics up soon if i can get back out to the car. How much would a reasonable offer be for it? does anybody have any experiences with gl***tops?
I saw one that was redone at a show last year and it was gorgeous! Pick it up cheap and fix it up at your leisure. Would be a great score!
