'54 Horn ring install - horn wire

I'm doing a ground up resto-mod on a '54 Belair 2dr HT, and I'm trying to understand the horn wire. I have all the parts needed, but the horn wire. I read wrenchbender54's horn install article from 2007 (very helpful), but I don't know where and how the horn wire is installed in the column. Where does it wire into in the horn ring? I have an EZ Wire loom and will need to run the horn wire to it once I know how to wire it to the horn ring.
