Just stripped the chrome off. and did a lil torch lowering job! makes a world of differnce. Not a real huge custom job but it just goes to show that 4 doors need love too. later dudes
I like it with the chrome... and hell yeah it looks better dropped. moredoors really do need love too.
sorry it's been a while but i put acouple hours in today on the tailights they are nearing completion. i removed the bumper gaurds. and shaved the decklid. and frenched the stock lenses a lil lower on the quarter check it out...
side, i still gotta fill in around the light a bit. just the ribbbed part of the light gives it that art deco feel. dig
As Popeye would say, I can't stands it no more. I'm comin out on Saturday to see for myself. You gonna be around?
Looks very good. I am really interested on how this ride turns out. Is the bulk of your work stricly building rods and customs? Inquiring minds need to know.
mike I gots a wedding satruday! bummer I know. That lovey dovey stuff should not cut into hot rodding time so much. hahahaha peter, I do collision work all day long but sometimes I get to work on hot rods durring the day when we are caught up. Otherwise every hour I get after work is devoted to rod building stop out sometime. We listen to very loud heavy metal usually when all the old blue hairs leave the facility.. I like the lights too! drawback is you prolly gotta run a third brakelight cause they get so small. I am sure we can come up with something cool. later drew
a bunch of work to pankake only an inch but I think the hood flows a lil better now. it don't look like a pizza hut box glommed on the hood now. check it
I really dig the taillight treatment Drew. As for needing a third light... maybe. They are still bigger than on any older coupe.
These photos are like **** for greasemonkeys look at this stuff- I have to go find my wife now. . . .
