1952-59 Ford 54 merc swaw bar

Hi I am building a 54 merc and sure have learned a lot from you guys. Jeff B posted a ways back that a 55 tbird sway bar from aadco would fit a 54/56 ford . I would like to know if the front susp is the same on my Merc as the Ford. I would really like to up grade to a 7/8 in bar. Thanks for all the info. Nial
