Customs 54 Mercury Spears

Just curious if anyone has bought after market 54 Merc quarter panel spears. There is a big difference in price between the Night Prowlers and Carpenter parts, is there a noticeable difference in quality? These are for my 51 ford project the Black Cavendish, should I just go NOS like the rest of my parts?
