Projects 54 New Yorker chrome clips

I'm looking for the clips to attach the drivers door chrome strip to the door. I'm missing a couple and cant seem to find any. Any suggestions?

 

A trip to an autobody supply shop should get you a suitable substitute. If you know what modern universal clip will work, Ebay has lots.

 

Fastenal has thr Aveco book. They can get and stock some clips

 

Usually you can substitute universal*****erfly clips for the original clips. HRP

 

Call Jeff at Restoration Specialties, he has lots of old surplus clips, well had... I bought his last of one for my Ford last year.

Try RJL, he has a bunch of clips too.
