I have a '54 Pontiac I am making into a driver. I am replacing the straight eight with a 385 cubic inck small block Chevy and using a 200R4 overdrive. I want to add power steering. Would it be a good idea to just install a '54 PS steering column? I want to keep the stock steering wheel and horn ring. I could have hoses made to go from my '94 Chevy PS pump to the '54 Pontiac steering box. Any other suggestions and reasons. Thanks!
