54 power brake setup

    The junk yard gave me a complete set-up pedal and all for free. I just had to remove it from a early 80's cutlass. It will bolt in with little work. Its whats in my 53.

    Im no pro, but Im looking at the same deliemma as you are, that kit looks decent, the price is good, and the specs seem to be better than most in the sense that they mention disc/drum packages etc. Buy it and tell me if it works well!! :p

    I fabbed up a bracket and used a 1" master. I run the eci disc setup, and stock rear drums. a s10 prop valve, or 70s midsize works perfexct.

    Never used that one but I had bought something similar. I didn't like how it hung below the frame rail so I installed one under the dash

    I just went ahead and took pics now. Here is one of the assembly up behind the dash.

    And as you can see the booster barely hangs below the dash but you can't see it unless you are looking for it

    good pics, very clean looking. i've got my mind set on trying this. i don't know why more dont. dash space i guess. was the bracket geometry very difficult to figure out?

    No, it comes with the bracket, so I just had to change it a little to mount it straight under the dash.
