Hey guys! New to the forum and Im in need of some advice.

I have a 1955 chevy (2nd gen) truck. I also have a 1990 c4 corvette as a donar car. I pulled the motor and trans out of the car to put in my 55. I heard about people using the rearend and front suspension on these trucks, so I pulled the rearend and front crossmember out of the c4. Now how do I install front crossmber? Does the stock c4 fit? Or is there some kind of crazy priced after market crossmember I have to buy? Thanks in advance!

Just a heads up, this is a traditional hot rod and custom site, so c4 corvette stuff isn't really discussed openly most of the time.

That friendly warning out of the way, someone on the tri-five forum built a custom frame for their truck utilizing c4 stuff.

Or you could send a PM to H.A.M.B member El Polacko, he may have some insight for you.

There are some good threads by guys who have used the No Limits cross members to put C4 components under their Task Force trucks.

First you need a tape measure.

You would likely find more help on a resto-mod pick up , or street rod forum.
