    chrome reverse rear rims w/235 75 tires,...plenty of clearance...( that's a 292 Chevy six)

I ended up with 235s on the back and 225s on the front. Running the old aluminum rims for now until I round up 2 more steelies. IMG_0849.JPG

Appreciate this is an old thread but as a recently joined member I thought it best to have a look before starting a new thread

My Dad and I are building a street driven turbo 5.3 LS 56 Chevy truck with a 8.8 explorer rear but are stumped on tire sizes. We're pretty much set on 15" wheels.

I'm based in the UK so am already on the back foot in terms of wheels and tire availability but have decided on a 31" tall rear tire to fill the fender a bit more and give a mini 'pro-mod' look.

I'd love to go to 33" rears but tires are crazy expensive at that size over hear, if you can get them. For normal street use (which in reality will be 99% of the time), there are Vitour Galaxy tires in 285/70/15 available here at a decent price to give the height and some meat (something like a 315 wide tire would be great but not readily available here).

Does anyone run a similar height tire and if so, what do you run on the front for the look? I'm thinking maybe a 225/70/15 or 225/75/15?

As always, pictures would be amazing

    Many Thanks,

    Joe
