55 altered wheelbase gasser

    thought i'd post a few pics of the altered wheel base chevy i'v been building.the rear wheels have been pushed forward 9 inchs the motor has been moved back 2 inchs,straight front axel,13:1 comppresion 327 ,super t-10 four speed,with a 9 inch ford with 5:29 gears in the rear the car is far from being done but it's geting there. SO WHATCHA THINK?

    That thing looks real wicked. The altered wheelbase really makes it look aggressive.

    hey thanks.it will be both street/strip but mainly street got it on the road 2 weeks ago so i'm still takeing the bugs out of it i plan on runing it at the moon eyes x-mas party at irwindale speed way in december

  9. Cool as hell, nice job. I want to build an altered wheelbase Nova, I think the altered wheelbase looks cool as hell.

    I love the fact that you kept the stock wheel wells. That's a ton of work that came out looking cool. Post some pics of the wheels up, when you get 'em.

    Nice job. Do you have pictures of you sidestepping the clutch at 7K? Those would be nice too.

    windows are NOT tinted all the side gl*** is plexi-gl***

    very cool. I'd like to see it with one of those tear drop scoops on the hood... I like blue windows. got a roll bar? g***ers got to have a roll bar...

    Awesome man! You should start thinking about wheelie bars if you haven't already. It's a freaky feeling when they stand up on the bumper, you can't see anything but sky. Its cool but the thought of going over backwards is un-nerving.

    hey thanks,i have wheelie bars mounted on the car it's just hard to see them with the altered wheelbase.

    THANKS yeah i dig those tear drop style hoods alot i have a 64 mercury g***er and a 64 ranchero g***er that i run tear drop hoods on i just wanted something a little differn't on this car. it does have a roll bar just havent got around to finishing it.
