Projects 55 buick nailhead

i just picked up a 55 buick special it had a 264 but was pulled, it still has the dynaflow trans and i was wondering if a 57 401 would fit my trans?? please help

 

No a 401 wont fit your trans if it was the stock one that was behind the 264.

 

I think the 322 will fit if you can find one

 

For the right price I'll pull my 264 out and sell it. I have a 401 I want to run.

 

A 322 will bolt right on there. A 364 or 401 that came with a dynaflow will work with the proper dynaflow bellhousing.
