55 Chevy D/Gas old race car

Does anybody have any info or pics on this car?? It ran out of Laurinburg N.C. Jimmy Hickman ran the car. It ran under the name of the Roadrunner

Seems like I saw that car run in Jacksonville, N.C. at US 258 dragway in the late 60's...if not, it was very similar..didn't have the name then.

 

that has been a good while ago!-but I remember the car lettered. will try and dig up some pics-I think it ran KINSTON dragstrip, North Carolina and 258 if memory serves me right {and it might not at this stage}the guy was associated with the PRO's speed shop Jville NC, I ran at those tracks around 70-71

UPDATE! I just called an old USMC buddy that I built engines for back in the day, He thinks that you might get some answers from James Hickman --- Hickman Performance of North Carolina 910 276-0102 hope that helps, and I am still knocking dust of my pile of old photos

i believe that car is on racingjunk.com for sale. its now painted red and has a really weird dash treatment. go to RJ and type gasser or 55 chevy. hope this helps!

Thanks for the info, I have already met the current owner of the car and yes it was on Racing Junk, and we have already talked, he has given me all he knows about the car. I thought I would put it out there to see if anybody had any info or pics at the track. I am looking into re-doing the car as it was.
