OK another newbie, I want to put a 472 Caddy motor in front of a M-22 in my 55 210 chevy.Has anybody else done this swap? Wondering about motor mounts ,exhaust and is there room for it with a stock steering box and frame? Any help would sure be welcome!!
Kool why to go fast bro......those Caddy motors make lots of torque and are lighter then a big block Chevy. I'd guess to say that it should go in. Oh yeah......welcome from another 55 owner hope you like at the HAMB!!
If you need to build some headers CMD {Cadillac Motorsports Develpment} has a flange kit.I think you might have a steering linkage-oil pan interference problem if your engine is front sump but you can use an Eldorado pan and pickup.
