OK another newbie, I want to put a 472 Caddy motor in front of a M-22 in my 55 210 chevy.Has anybody else done this swap? Wondering about motor mounts ,exhaust and is there room for it with a stock steering box and frame? Any help would sure be welcome!!

  2. Kool why to go fast bro......those Caddy motors make lots of torque and are lighter then a big block Chevy. I'd guess to say that it should go in.

Oh yeah......welcome from another 55 owner hope you like at the HAMB!! :)

If you need to build some headers CMD {Cadillac Motorsports Develpment} has a flange kit.I think you might have a steering linkage-oil pan interference problem if your engine is front sump but you can use an Eldorado pan and pickup.
