55 chevy hood scoop

    I've been trying to save this hood from the s****pers. I just have a hard time throwing anything away any more. I guess I have more time then money these days. Well I got the hood patched up and started thinking hood scoop. After looking around couldn't find anything that had the look I wanted. So heres what I came up with.

    My sheet metals tools are next to none so everything I do Is the hard way.

    The hood is going to look killer, but as much as I hate to say it, those front wheels completely take away from the look of the rest of the car.

    Scoop is ok...but I like the tools he made to make the scoop!!! as good ol Larry would say " GIT'ER DONE"!!!!

    I do agree it is a work in progress I needed some rollers front and rear approximate size. This picture has been my head since the mid sixty hopefully it dident get to burned out over the years. Thanks for comments Ron
