hey guys so i just bought new pins and bushings for the old hinges but when i was cleaning the two uper hinges i noticed that one of the hinges was missing a pin and a bracket type thing. ( i dont know what it is called but it was the 2nd pin that stops the hing from going all the way out) if any one knows what it is please tell me . also if you do is it important and do i need it? thanks in the pics the rusty one is the one without the pin i was talking about the cleaned one is the one with the pin as you can see there is a bracket coneted to the pin what is that if anyone knowes thanks
hey, If I understand you correctly, it sounds like the pin that held the roller, that checked how far the door opens into the opening. Yes, these are important, as they stop the door from opening into the fender! If the door opens too far, it could not only damage the door/fender, but also, twist the A-post! Yea may wanna hunt down some other complete hinges. Swankey Devils C.C. "Meanwhile, back aboard The Tainted Pork"
