Hey I was hoping someone here has removed their rear gl*** and can help me out a bit. I'm trying to help my dad put the gl*** and reveal moldings back on his 55 hardtop but we can't get the lower reveal moldings to stay in place. he bought all new clips for it but looking at the shop manual it shows what appears to be a different clip for the bottom of the window. The clips we have are the ones that fit over the pinch weld and then stick straight out. The ones shown in the book from their ****ty 50 year old pics appear to be a squared-off "U" shape. It says to install the reveal moldings on the weatherstrip before sitting the windshield in, but the that will not work with the existing clips we have. Another guy says the one clip is used top and bottom but to me it doesn't look like it in the book. Of course I wasn't there when it was removed and it was screwed up to begin with so that's no help. Any help would be great as I've about lost any ideas of how to make it work. Thanks. Bill
