Customs 55 chey pickup

i was told that a 55 chevy would fit on a 74 and new frame. is this true? anyone know of any threads?

i dont know if the 55 cab will bolt to the 74 frame, but i do know the front end from the 74 will bolt under the 55, k frame and all . i had one in high school

 

The track with is about 2"wider than your stock set up if you want it low you will have issues.

 

yes it will work if your talking abour the 55 2nd series truck, my 59 sits on a 73 - 87 chevy short wheel base frame.
