Damn, this one is looking nice. Seeing those door and trunklid pics, I have to ask, does anyone know if all of the trunklids are the same, sedan/hardtop/conv.? Also, can I assume that hardtop doors will fit on a convertible?

i assume the hardtop doors would work. i think the decklid on a the four doors (and possibly 2dr sedans) are shorter though.

Bob, Got you message, thanks! I'm gonna be goin over there ina few days so i'll check and see what kind we have and if we need one.

Looks like great work. Anyone have a set of the side moldings - the V shaped ones that go from the mirror back on 2 door? I need them for a 50 ford custom.

I've got a black and pink two door sitting in my driveway right now. It's surprisingly decent except for the bottom of the rear quarter panel. Does anyone make a patch panel for that?

stilloutthere is right. Forget the Wires ! They only look perfect on the longer wb, bigger MoPars.

Use the OE Lancers, they look like they belong there...because they do.

Very nice ride ! '55 & '57 Dodges are my faves of all Dodges. My 2nd car was a '57 Royal HdTp. I now own a '57 Coronet D-500 (Original patined Cal.-Arz. body/much modified drivetrain & suspension.)

Am enclosing a couple of pix: My '59 Suburban Wagon with wires; the D-500 with Lancers.

Great project...love to see the finished product !

I went through a similar process with my 56 Plymouth convertible.

Yeah, no kidding. I can give you an update on my '55 Dodge convertible. The tree growing out of the engine compartment died. That's about it. Now, how about yours?

lol, unfortunately we lost a storage garage and had to put the car on the back burner until we get all the other projects situated, and in some cases...liquidated. :(

I'll see if i have any newer pics i haven't posted but it's not much more than you've seen.
