1952-59 Ford 55 Door Removal

    Hi People,
    Was just out trying to remove the doors from my 1955 Fairlane. Could not figure out how to disengage the door stopper. Is there a trick?

    You will need to cut the head off the pin. Replacements pins use a snap ring.

    I dunno, mine didn't have them, but if you haven't removed/loosened the door yet, drill a 1/8 hole thru the inner door panel into the hinges, for each hinge. Do the same at the hinge/doorpost. These will give you a real close alignment when you put it back together by using 1/8 pins/drill bit shafts in the holes before you snug the bolts.
