55 ford ,camaro subframe

i got a clipped 55 ford with a 78 camaro clip ,id love to raise the front end as much as possible,i believe the clips from a small block car,have any of you used big block springs to raise one of these ,and or used s10 lift spindles? any thoughts would be wonderful
