Great job! Thanks for sharing with us. Gassers rule! Back in the late '50s and early '60s when I wasn't even a teenager yet, the Bernard Conway and Johnny Woodhouse (Soda Pop Gang) '55 Chevy Gasser built out of Cheyenne, WY got me hooked on '55 Chevys for life. I'd love to locate the owner of their car now. I heard that it might be in Rock Springs, WY?
thanks guys , well i think my m22 is here to stay as i love the sound of them whining down the road ... but yes im gonna have an estimated hp of around 650 and I know it can be stress on the muncie but im gonna roll the dice and run it.
NOT AT ALL ....I sold the original chassis under it and with that sold i have 400 dollars in the intial purchase so not bad...but not for the faint of heart...
Too bad you didn't have access to, or use Nomad quarters. The factory radius is spot on. Congrats otherwise for keeping good ol' USA iron in the USA. May be one less Kia or Hyundai or other "global economy improver." See 'ya at Bakersfield in October......
got to get weight in car set height and im going to radius it out. i cant wait to finish that part as ive been planning how im going to do it for months...
i looked at the nomad quarters but my rear wheel base is altered a bit and wouldnd look right due to wheel not centered..
someone in NorCal looking for a project? search sacramento craigslist auto parts for sale: '55 Chevy 210 Gasser project - $4,000 (current ad-not mine)
