Does anyone know where to pick up a steering gearbox. I have some serious play in mine, or any quick fixes.cheers
You can buy the parts and tear it apart yourself. I did that and then had a guy use all the new parts to rebuild my '54 box since I couldn't press out the race bearings. It cost me less then $180.00 to have him rebuild it and I was able to get it back in a few days. The parts add up a bit too if you have to buy the whole sector shaft, but if you only have to buy the worm gear then its a little cheaper.
